Thank you for visiting the Saint Anselm parish website! Saint Anselm has been serving Catholic believers and our local community since 1972. Our parish family strives to bring the Gospel of Christ into our daily lives at home, at school, and at work. Come join us for worship, fellowship, and community!
On Sunday, August 18, St. Anselm's will provide Dinner for the Center in Asbury Park. The success of this activity depends on the generosity of our parishioners. Please consider helping to provide food items, set up, serve, and clean up.
Please bring the following kinds of COMMERCIALLY PREPARED FOOD to the church by noon on Sunday: fried or rotisserie chicken, macaroni salad, baked mac & cheese, potato salad, fruit salad, green salad, lemonade, ice tea, or finger desserts. (Unfortunately, NJ CEOHS regulations prevent us from accepting food prepared in a home kitchen.)
We need assistance at the Center on Sunday for the following activities:
If you'd like to volunteer or need information, please contact Mary McCauley at [email protected] or 908-433-0083.
From August 18-25, St. Anselm's will again welcome five temporarily homeless families from the Family Promise program. We are always in need of new volunteers to help host our guest. To see how to help, please check out the information on the bulletin board near the chapel and sign up on the volunteer chart.
Save the date: Our annual Parish picnic will be held on Sunday, September 8, after the 11am Mass. More information to follow.
