Want to Become Catholic?
Becoming a Catholic
We initiate new Catholics over the age of 7 years old through a process of apprenticeship in Christ known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
The process of becoming a Catholic Christian is unique to each person, and is a process that takes into consideration each person's unique faith journey. There is no set beginning or end to this faith-formation process. To help new Catholic Christians prepare for initiation through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, our faith-formation team will accompany catechumens and candidates for full communion with weekly meetings to reflect on:
-The Sunday readings from Mass
-Ways to serve the world today as Disciples of Christ
-Catholic customs of prayer, devotion, and service
If you are unbaptized, and would like more information about our initiation process, please contact us, at any time of the year, and ask for our Pastoral Associate, Mrs. Sandy Mullarkey at our Parish Office at 732 493 4411. May God bless your faith journey! Come Home to Jesus!!!
