St. Anselm Re-Opening for Sunday Mass - July 19, 11am

St. Anselm is moving forward with everyone's safety in mind. We are following guidelines set forth by the State of NJ and by the Diocese of Trenton.

Mass Attendance:

For those of you who are low-risk and feel well enough to attend, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can be seated with your party with adequate distance between you and others. We are using the plastic folding chairs in our main worship area and will allow you to adjust your proximity away from others.

If you have traveled to a state on NJ's quarantine list, please do not attend mass in person until your quarantine period is complete.

Entrance is only permitted in the main lobby near the office. We have a QR code you can scan with your phone upon entrance to speed up the sign-in process. QR Codes are displayed in the main lobby.

We are constrained by 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less for indoor mass. The learning center will also be available for up to 30 people to watch on the closed circuit TV.

Face coverings are required. You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer.

There is no choir and there will be no singing by the congregation since that activity is a vehicle for spread.

There will be no printed worship aids, nor printed bulletins.

There will be no physical contact between congregants (Sign of Peace, the Lord's Prayer, general greetings...).

Collection baskets will be at the entrances but will not be passed around. Online giving also helps reduce "handling" of gifts.

Ushers will direct you for Communion. Be sure to keep six feet apart.

Ushers will also direct you for proper dismissal. There will be no congregating in the worship area or lobbies. And you may exit via either lobby.

Sanitation:

The church building was professionally cleaned on July 3rd. We will also clean between masses.

General Guidelines:

Do not drop off any food donations, as we are not accepting any at this time. Contact your local food banks and charities for guidance on direct donations.

Do not drop off any recycling either.

We will accept cleaning supply donations since we need to clean the chairs and hard surfaces between masses. Lysol wipes, gloves, cleaners for bathroom surfaces, etc...

We appreciate everyone's patience with this process. Be sure to check our parish website for updates.
